Meet the Doctors
Dr. Chip Patterson – D.M.D
Dr. Chip Patterson grew up in a dental family helping out at his father’s dental office in Toccoa, and knew early on that he was passionate about dentistry. He attended Young Harris and the University of Georgia before completing his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He went on to complete a dental residency that put extra emphasis on surgical techniques and implant placement at the VA Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Patterson has a quick sense of humor and brings a fun atmosphere to the office. He is an active member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Patterson has a naturally energetic personality that keeps him constantly in motion, either working on continuing education or on projects at the office! His best friend is a labradoodle named Sawyer, who also loves to be on the go.
Dr. Chip and Dr. Eleanor have four daughters: Avie, Ember, Leland, and Peyton. They love to spend time with their girls and watch them grow!
Dr. Eleanor Patterson
Dr. Eleanor Patterson has been with our office for over five years. She has enjoyed every minute, getting to spend time with our patients and practice dentistry here. Dr. Eleanor and Dr. Chip have been blessed to have four daughters in the span of five years! Therefore, Dr. Eleanor will be stepping back from dentistry for the next 5-6 years to be at home and raise their girls. We wish Dr. Eleanor the best in getting some time to do the important job of being mom while her kids are little.
Dr. Riyaz Jiwani
Dr. Jiwani completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University, and then pursued his doctorate of dental medicine at the Louisville School of Dentistry. He is an active member in several dental organizations including the ADA, GDA, AGD, and Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Riyaz brings six years of private practice experience and a passion for helping his patients. Dr Riyaz is an excellent clinician, with a talent for making each patient feel comfortable.
Outside of the office, Dr Jiwani loves the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter. I am excited to have Dr. Jiwani with us, and I can’t wait for you to meet him.
